Active Consulting is a boutique agency that specialises in two key markets, the ICT sector and the real estate industry, delivering in depth expertise in these areas to clients and candidates alike. The principal, Dean Smith is an established Recruitment solutionist providing exceptional service delivery to a select range of clients in the Auckland and Wellington regions. Dean has been successful in mobilising start up companies and global divisions providing essential recruitment and HR functions.
I am able to work with the client at a strategic level, dramatically reducing the cost of recruitment, moving away from traditional percentage fee based models to a fixed head count cost spread over wider periods.

My primary aim is to become a trusted link in your company hiring strategy, adding value in a number of key areas.
